Configuring Facebook

Navigate to the Data Source configuration panel for the report and select ‘New Facebook’.

  1. Name - choose an appropriate name for the data source (i.e. your Facebook Page title or the user name)
  2. Type - Select the type you are wanting to connect to. Facebook User data relates to the personal account (friends etc), whereas Facebook Page data is about a Facebook Page (likes, views etc). You can If you have multiple Facebook Users and Pages per report, but each needs its own own data source.
  3. Authorise - You will be redirected to a Facebook Login screen to give permission for this report to access the data. After signing in, select ‘Allow’, and you will be returned to the data source configuration panel.
  4. Update DataSource - select this to get the data locked in, or of course, cancel to do it another time.

Repeat the above steps for each Facebook type you want to report over.
