Google analytics

Configuring your sites that use Google Analytics

Navigate to the Data Source configuration panel for the report and select ‘New Google Analytics’.

  1. Name - choose an appropriate name for the data source (i.e. your website URL or blog title)
  2. Type - Select the type of site you are wanting to connect to. Choosing the type will plot the correct data on the charts. If it isn’t a blog or help centre, just select Website. (If you have multiple sites you will need a separate connection for each - repeat each of these steps).

  1. Authorise - You will be redirected to a Google sign in screen to give permission for this report to access the analytics data. After signing in, select ‘Grant access’, and you will be returned to the data source configuration panel. (For more information go here)
  2. Choose the url you want to access.
  3. Update DataSource - select this to get the data locked in, or of course, cancel to do it another time.

Repeat the above steps for each type of site you want to report over for the customer.
